Welcome Everyone

Thank you for joining me today. I 'am excited to share with you the ups and downs, the lessons learned, and the memorable moments from my journey through school this year. It's been a year of growth, challenges and I hope my story resonates with you and perhaps even inspires you in your own educational journey.

Question: What is something you did this year that you think you will remember for the rest of your life?

Answer: this year I will remember the first day when i had to take a picture for school. When I was in big picture school it was technically not the first day of school but for me it felt like it was the first day of 6th grade. So when I got out of my mom's car to take my picture I was nerves but From what I can remember I was wearing a flamingo shirt and a light brown pants. When I was walking to the cafeteria to take my picture and what I saw was a very long line to wait in. when I was in line waiting to take my picture while my mom was with me I saw my friend that I have not seen since 3rd grade because I had to move to lake hills so at first I did not recognize him but after we finely reunited we talk for a while but then I lost track of time and did not realize that I was next to take my picture. After I took my picture I was ready to leave so I said bye to my friend and the went back to my mom's car to travel back home.

Question: What was the most challenging part of this year for you?

Answer: The most challenging part of this school year has been the first weeks of school because I was still adjusting to big picture. At first I was given a map of the school and a paper that had what class and time it started. At home me and my mom marked what class I had to go to with a marker because both me and her had trouble understanding it. Because of me not being able to 100% understand it the first day of school I was tardy for my first class which is not a great start. After that I was getting introduced to my art class and found out that one of my classmates is in almost all of my classes so I follow her when I got lost. An other thing that I was adjusting to was remembering what I do on different days. For example I forget to bring my head phones every Tuesday for lexia and prodigy for Thursdays. I the last thing had to adjust too was my classes and remembering my classmates names

Question: If you could change one thing that happened this year, what would it be?

Answer: One thing I would change about this year would be forgetting to do things. One example of forgetting to do things is to read a chapter for LA so when the homework was due. my class talked about it I did not understand much about it. An other time when I forgot something was when I forgot to bring my home lunch. so I panicked because I did not know what I should do but then I realized that I could get the school lunch so I had to wait in the line. After school when I got back home the first think I saw was my lunch box laying down on the table as I was standing there annoyed that I forgot my lunch

Question: What is the most important thing you learned or accomplished this year? Why?

Answer: The most important thing I learned this year was economics. The reason I think it was the most important was because it teaches me about business which is really helpful in life to learn about money too. For example we learned about how to make a business plan. The business plan would be really helpful if I wanted to start a business of my own. An other thing that it will help me with is how to spend money and which items I should get like with percent and if I should get something that is $5.00 with 25% or $6.00 with 50% off. It also shows me that if I wanted to sell an item it is going to show me what price I show put it and if I should dower or rise it

Question: What was your favorite project in 6th grade?

Answer: My favorite project of 6th grade was when I did the origami habitat in art class. When I worked on the project with one of my friends so it was fun. An other thing that was fun was that we had to make at least three different animals and habitat from what I can remember so we made three frogs so there were Garfunkel and Jontez but the other frog that we had I can't remember the name. We also made a bat but I forgot the name of it and I also forgot the name of the fish that we made in a little lake too. Are habitat was a cave so we also made crystals and mushrooms and a rock for Garfunkel and Jontez to stand on while the other frog was in the middle of the cave with a crown on his head. But at the end it was a very fun project with me and my friend.
